Chloe's House is a Bible-based ministry rooted in the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We exist to help believers grow in their faith, pray together, and walk out God's purpose for their lives.

The Trinity

We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one God in three persons.

Scripture

The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and our guide for life and faith.

Salvation by Grace

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering us to live a life that honors God.

ABOUT US

The name "Chloe's House" comes from a brief yet profound mention in Scripture: "My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you." Though Chloe herself is not described in detail, her household was significant enough that Paul referenced it when addressing the Corinthian church.

This verse reveals something beautiful about the early church: church was not a formal building, but a gathering of believers in homes. Chloe's house was a place where people met, shared their lives, and cared for one another enough to speak truth in love.

Like Chloe's household, this platform is designed to be a modern-day "house" — not a building, but a community of believers supporting one another with real love, accountability, and spiritual care. Here, you're not just a face in a crowd; you're part of a household where people know your name, pray for your struggles, and walk with you in faith.

A Note on Church Community: While we strive to be a spiritual home for you, we do not intend to replace the physical church. There is something unmatched and irreplaceable about in-person fellowship, breaking bread together, and gathering as the body of Christ. However, until you're able to connect with a local church home, we will meet you where you're at and bring church to you — because everyone deserves a place to belong and grow in faith.

FAQ

  • Is my privacy protected?

Yes. All conversations are encrypted and confidential. Volunteers are trained to maintain strict confidentiality. Personal information is never shared without explicit consent, except in crisis situations where safety is at risk.

  • How do I know volunteers are trustworthy?

All volunteers undergo comprehensive training, background checks, and certification before serving. They're supervised by administrators and must adhere to strict ethical guidelines. Continuous monitoring and feedback systems ensure quality care.

  • What if I'm in crisis and need immediate help?

For immediate crisis situations (suicidal thoughts, abuse, life-threatening emergencies), we provide emergency contact information and encourage calling 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (988). Our volunteers are trained to recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate referrals.

  • Is online support as effective as in-person?

Research shows online support can be equally effective for many issues, especially when accessibility is a barrier. While in-person connection has value, online serving removes obstacles and provides consistent, quality support that fits modern lifestyles.

The goal is not to replace the church, but to add to it and meet people where they are at!

  • What if I don't connect well with my volunteer?

You can request a different volunteer at any time. We understand that personality fit matters, and we're committed to ensuring you receive support that feels right for you.

  • Are conversations monitored?

Yes, for safety. All conversations are moderated by AI systems to detect harmful content, crisis indicators, or policy violations. This protects both you and volunteers. Only flagged content is reviewed by administrators.

  • What if I don't connect with my assigned volunteer?

You can request a different volunteer at any time — no questions asked. We understand that personal connection matters, and we want you to feel completely comfortable. Just use the 'Request Different Volunteer' button in your assignments, and an admin will match you with someone new within 24-48 hours.

  • Do volunteers get paid for serving?

No, all volunteers serve on a voluntary basis without compensation. This reflects the biblical principle of serving out of love and devotion rather than for material gain. As 1 Peter 4:10 says, 'Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.' Volunteering at Chloe's House is a ministry — an opportunity to give back and support others in their faith journey. That said, we may have paid employment opportunities in the future as we grow, and volunteers will be notified if such positions become available.
